How can my client share passwords and sensitive information with me?

We recommend using a tool such as LastPass or PassPack. Please never send passwords via email!

What tools can my client use to document processes?

Google Docs is a great tool for simple processes to share directly with your client, as is Process Street. You could also document processed via video using the likes of CloudApp.

What tasks can Virtalent NOT help my client with?

At Virtalent, we naturally feel it's sensible to avoid helping clients with anything that requires the help of a highly-specialised professional, or anything that doesn't sit well with the sustainable, sensible approach we take to working with clients.

How is it best to "check in" with a client? When should I do so?

It's important that you both review how the relationship is going from time to time to ensure you are adding even more value to the client's day. When a client is so busy and you also have other clients to attend to, it's easy to let day after day pass by without 'checking in'!

What is AssistYou?

AssistYou is Virtalent’s Individual Assistance Programme (IAP), a service we have invested in to support your health and wellbeing.

Can I share my personal email address or contact details with a client?

It's very important that you only ever contact your client using your Virtalent email address, never your personal one.

Do I get reimbursed for the time I spend speaking to new clients?

We will reimburse you up to 60 minutes for any introduction call with a potential client. Simply log it to the portal!

How do expenses work at Virtalent?

Though we encourage clients to manage any costs or bills themselves, we do also offer the facility for you to log small expenses. If you need to log an expense (eg. travel costs), always check you have obtained permission from your client first!

How do I access the services offered as part of AssistYou?
