Can I share my personal email address or contact details with a client?

It's very important that you only ever contact your client using your Virtalent email address, never your personal one.

How do I report IT issues? [Portal, email, etc.]

Your Client Success Manager is on hand to support you with any IT issues, including with the portal, so please contact your CSM in the first instance.

How should I share a to-do list and stay organised with my client?

We recommend deciding on a to-do list app together, for you both to use when collaborating on tasks and projects.

What data security measures must I follow?

At Virtalent, we promise our clients that the work carried out for them is 100% confidential and 100% secure. This means that we have a few sensible rules in place to make sure this happens.

Can I pay for things using my client's credit card?

If you need to use your client's credit or debit card to make payments on their behalf, there are a number of ways for your client to safely share these details with you, including LastPass and Passpack. It's also possible for your client to set-up a prepaid debit card (i.e. Pockit and Google Pay) for you to pay for more frequent expenses.

How can my client share passwords and sensitive information with me?

We recommend using a tool such as LastPass or PassPack. Please never send passwords via email!

Can I meet my client in-person?

It depends. We are a remote-first service, but if you are both happy, it can be possible to arrange an in-person meeting on occasion.

Can I share my CV with my client?

There's no need! Your client already has access to your Virtalent profile, inside the Task Portal. Please speak to Virtalent if they need more information than the profile contains.
